Did you hear? The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) is back for a third season in Singapore and bigger than ever before with S$100,000 up for grabs! The tournament builds on the successful debut last year of Singapore’s first-ever standalone MPL league, which saw over eight teams and close to 390,000 hours spectated over the two seasons.
Singtel’s PVP Esports will once again be teaming up with MOONTON Games, developer of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), to organise MPL Singapore. Last year’s tournament saw a peak concurrent viewership of more than 20,000 viewers, with local MLBB team EVOS SG scoring consecutive back-to-back championship wins. Alongside RSG SG, another local team led by Andrew “Potato” Lim fought their way up to the fourth place in the MLBB M3 World Championship, the highest a team from Singapore has ever placed in the global tournament.
This season, squad up with a team of five for the qualifiers between 12 to 13 March to take part in MPL Singapore. The regular season will take place over four weekends from 2 April to 23 April, with playoffs held between 29 April to 1 May.
