Microsoft is finally bringing a preview of its PC Game Pass to Southeast Asia.
Starting on Tuesday (29 March), gamers in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam (residents in Singapore already have access to both the Xbox and PC Game Pass) can register for the PC Game Pass preview.
This will give players access to a library of over 100 games, including new Xbox Game Studios releases.
Available titles currently include Halo Infinite, Minecraft and Microsoft Flight Simulator.
It used to be that eager gamers in the region would have to create an account with a foreign address to access the service.
But now, you can just sign up using the Xbox Insider app – players can then trial the PC Game Pass for a minimal monthly fee for the duration of the preview.
The price seems to vary depending on where you live – in Malaysia, it will cost you about US$0.20 monthly, while in Indonesia, it’s about US$0.10.
Microsoft said the full service will launch in the five countries later this year.
The company launched the PC Game Pass in 2019 and it is estimated over 25 million gamers subscribe to its services.
