You Can Now Play This New Mini Game, Featuring Geralt’s Beloved Horse Roach, While Waiting For More Witcher Updates

A new Witcher game has dropped from CD Projekt Red..well…sort of. Kind of.

Roach Race is a 16-bit endless runner game in which you play as Roach – Geralt of Rivia’s horse. 

We got a brief look at it during a Twitch livestream on Wednesday, and it seemed as Roach you’ll be running endlessly, collecting goodies and dodging enemies. 

Hitting an enemy will result in 16-bit Roach falling to the ground and Geralt catching up with her.

The start of the game also featured Roach on top of a peasant’s roof – a loving nod to the earlier glitches reported from Witcher 3.

(A reminder that Roach starred in one of the best quests in the game as well.)

You can access the mini game two ways – one, inside Cyberpunk 2077 itself, specifically via V’s Northside and Japantown.

Or, you can download it on your mobile for both iOS and Android. 

Either way, it’s something to keep Witcher fans entertained until we get a next gen patch for Witcher 3 or until CD Projekt gives us more details about the upcoming Witcher game they’re working on. 

Whichever comes first.
